Membership is open to persons, firms, companies or other corporations and financial institutions trading in international iron and steel-making raw materials in respect of either physical or non-physical transactions whether resident in Great Britain or not. 

Associate membership is open to those who are not steel traders but whose business activity is connected with the international iron and steel trade.

All membership (including associate membership) applications are subject to approval by ISTA’s Executive Committee. Applications have to be proposed and seconded by representatives of member companies and at least one of the proposer/seconder has to be a member of the Executive Committee.

The current annual subscription is £650+VAT.
